During the epic filibuster tonight in the Senate led by Rand Paul (vs. drone attacks on U.S. citizens here at home and the Brennan nomination), Sen. Ted Cruz cited an inspirational message from the Alamo in his home state--on 177th anniversary of its fall. So here is a bit of one of the highlights of my (sad?) youth: Disney's version of Davy Crockett at the Alamo. Seth Parker and Buddy Ebsen.
